If a powerful cabinet minister cannot manage only with Tamil, who can manage to survive if one crosses the border of Tamil Nadu. World Classical Tamil Conference must address this issue.
A cabinet minister in Indian government is not present to answer questions in parliament because he cannot speak any other language other than Tamil. He is ready answer in Tamil but every member of the parliament wants him to speak in English or Hindi, for they cannot understand Tamil. The opposition members create a ruckus, news papers write about it and portray it in a negative manner. When a cabinet minister in the ruling party is finding it difficult with only Tamil, which Tamil can manage to survive knowing only Tamil? How is it possible to safe guard Tamil when one will find it difficult to survive let alone live only knowing Tamil? The Indian Constitution recognizes all Indian languages and more over Tamil has been declared as the classical language of India. There is absolutely no job qualification to become a minister, like language proficiency or number of languages known or English proficiency etc. Despite all this when a cabinet minister of parliament is facing all sorts of comments; Can others, let alone ordinary people, get a good job knowing only Tamil? How is it possible to thrust Tamil, when English speaking people become bosses all the time? Thiruthamizh is the only way to safe guard Tamil.
